The growth of KEJJA has been built step by step through the acquisition, operation, and modernization of hotel and real estate assets.

Before 1999 Origins

 
Before entering the hotel industry, Claude Chan owned Japanese photo centers. The market transformation driven by the arrival of digital technology led him to divest these activities and pursue new business opportunities.
 
 

 

1999
First property

 
Acquisition of the first hotel, now operating under the Newstar banner. This milestone marks the group’s entry into hotel operations.
 
 

 

2000 • 2005
Initial development

 
Addition of new properties, including Hôtel Classique, and gradual expansion of the hotel portfolio.
